The “Research to Reality” event was held on 5th and 6th February 2024 at The EGG in Brussels, under the Belgian presidency and in co-operation with the European Commission. The event brought together researchers, policy-makers, and innovative companies to address the challenges and opportunities of digital technologies.

The first day featured inspiring speeches, interactive sessions, and workshops aimed at creating synergies between the Horizon Europe and Digital Europe programmes. Participants put forward concrete recommendations for aligning these digital financing and investment programmes in Europe.

The second day featured visits to Fari, Imec, and Buildwise, where participants learnt more about these leading Belgian organisations’ innovative ideas. The event concluded with productive exchanges between participants and speakers, and a private concert by Alice On The Roof.
